About the Journal
Bali Dermatology, Venereology, and Aesthetic Journal is published by Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Udayana University, Bali, Indonesia. Bali Dermatology and Venereology Journal is an open access, peer-reviewed journal aiming to communicate high-quality research articles, reviews and general articles in the field of dermatology and venereology. Bali Dermatology and Venereology Journal publishers articles which encompass all aspects of basic research/clinical studies related to the field of dermatology and venereology and allied science fields. The Journal aims to bridge and integrate the intellectual, methodological, and substantive diversity of medical scholarship, and to encourage a vigorous dialogue between medical scholars and practitioners. The journal welcomes contributions which promote the exchange of ideas and rational discourse between practising educators and medical researchers all over the world.
About Prof. dr. I G. N. G. Ngoerah (Sanglah) General Hospital
Sanglah General Hospital was built in 1956 and inaugurated on December, 30th 1959, with a capacity of 150 beds. In 1962 in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine Udayana University as a teaching hospital. In 1978 became a teaching hospital as type B and Referral Hospital for Bali, NTB, NTT, East Timor. As with other organizations, Sanglah Hospital also has a vision as to the intended direction, become eminent in the field of Hospital Care, Education and Research of the National and International level. In realizing this vision in providing services Sanglah always strive with every effort in order to service excellence in order to satisfy the people who need the service. Moreover, Sanglah Hospital is a major referral hospital for the region of Bali, NTB and NTT. Besides Sanglah also always emphasizes the empowerment of its resources to be able to produce a superior education and research in the fields of medicine, health and nursing. On July, 7th 2022 Sanglah General Hospital now changed into Prof. dr. I G. N. G. Ngoerah General Hospital.
